Joint Affidavit of Cohabitation (marriage without a license)

Use this affidavit only if every statement is true. The Supreme Court has declared void marriages celebrated on the basis of a false affidavit of cohabitation (Republic v. Dayot, 2008); if in doubt, apply for a marriage license instead. The affidavit updates as you type; download the PDF and sign it together before a notary public or the solemnizing officer.

The document is drafted in English, the language commonly used for legal documents in the Philippines. Everyone who signs must understand it: have it explained in his or her language before signing.
